BELWIN CONSERVANCY
Belwin Conservancy's 1,424 acre preserve includes oak savanna and woodlands, tallgrass prairie, wetlands, and fens. It is home to numerous rare and threatened plants and animals. During the summer months, Belwin Conservancy hosts bison on the preserve. The bison are first and foremost a prairie restoration tool: their presence on the prairie adds to its diversity and richness. They also are magestic creatures in their own right and visiting them throughout the summer is both fun and rewarding.
