THE BLACK HILLS
The Black Hill of South Dakota are severely underrated. Beyond the kitchy tourist traps (which are kind of fun in their own way) lies gorgeous peaks and valleys like this. The pegmatite intrusions of Harney Peak granite (I did my college capstone in geology here) create endless unique rock formations. Our trip here was short, but we'll be back!
