GOLDEN TAMARACK
Tamaracks are strange little trees. They are both deciduous and coniferous, meaning that they have needles like a pine tree, but in the fall, the needles turn yellow and fall of like leaves. The fall color show in marshes and wetlands around Minnesota is usually closed out by an explosion of golden tamaracks like this one.
