My name is Paul Raymaker and I live with my wife, Jackie, in Seattle. I work as a geologist at an environmental consulting firm. Photography is only a hobby for me, however most of my focus gets put into it and I wouldn’t mind making it more than a hobby someday.
For now, Jackie and I enjoy teaming up and shooting weddings for a modest price. Please email me if you are interested in having your wedding covered by Raymaker Photography. Jackie and I focus on covering the day with a photojournalistic style combined with an artistic eye.
My passion lies in nature photography. My goal is solely to show others what beauty I have been lucky enough to witness with the end result being that people care more for where they live.
When shooting, I try to capture the best data with my pixels as I can with careful technique. My practices are far from perfect and I am always trying to absorb as much information as I can. I can assure you that my photos have not been edited in a way that adds or subtracts subject matter. 90% of my editing process involves levels, curves, and color control. Most often, my intent is to make my photos look as near to what I see in real life as possible.
