As they migrate north to the tundra, Snow geese gather in flocks of tens of thousands, feeding on left over grain in farm fields. The Skagit Valley is a well known location for observing these massive flocks, not just for people, but also for Bald Eagles. This time of year, eagles gather to prey on young and injured geese.
